Preamble

These Terms & Conditions are concluded between, on the one hand, CUSTOMSKY LTD, whose registered office is at 85 Great Portland Street, First Floor, London, W1W 7LT, United Kingdom, company registration number 13667041 and UK VAT number GB 426 5278 84 (the "Vendor"), and, on the other hand, the person wishing to purchase via the website https://www.cattag.co.uk (the "Buyer").

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

The Customer acknowledges having read, when ordering, and agrees to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions without reservation.

Customer Service

CUSTOMSKY LTD provides its customers with:

Products

Product photographs are provided to illustrate the Products. Colours, finishes and the appearance of engraving or other personalisation may vary slightly from the photographs because of screen settings, photographic lighting and natural variation in the materials. The Products supplied will otherwise correspond to their description. Any use and/or reproduction of our photographs is prohibited.

Product prices are shown in GBP. All taxes are included in the final product price.

Shipping costs, where they apply, are shown and confirmed to the Buyer before final order confirmation.

Products are offered subject to availability. If a Product becomes unavailable after an order is validated, the Buyer may request either a refund of amounts paid or an exchange for another Product.

The 10-Year Engraving Guarantee

We stand behind our engraving. Personalisation that has been engraved — physically cut into the material — is covered for 10 years against fading or loss of legibility under normal use.

This guarantee covers: engraved personalisation only — legibility and resistance to fading over time.

This guarantee does not cover: printed or embroidered personalisation, physical damage, loss, or normal wear to the product itself.

This guarantee is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer.

To make a claim, contact us with proof of purchase. Your order number or order confirmation email is sufficient.

Retention of Title

The Products ordered remain the property of the Vendor until full payment is received. On the effective date of delivery, the risks, including loss, theft or damage, relating to the Products delivered pass to the Buyer.

Order

Automatic registration systems are considered proof of the nature, content and date of the order. The Buyer is bound by the information given at the time of order; the Vendor is not responsible for delivery failure caused by an error in the address details provided by the Buyer. A reshipment in that case is chargeable to the Buyer.

Payment

When confirming the order, the Buyer may pay by the payment methods offered at checkout.

Payment is made in full at the time of ordering; payments are not treated as deposits. All orders are payable in GBP, inclusive of taxes.

CUSTOMSKY LTD reserves the right to suspend or cancel an order in case of payment default, a payment incident or suspected fraud.

Order and delivery details may be shared with third parties authorised by law solely to verify the Buyer's identity, the order, the payment method and delivery.

Delivery

Personalised orders are made and dispatched from our workshop in Budapest, and delivered by the local national postal service in your country. Orders are sent within 24–48 hours of payment being received.

Europe and UK: typically 5–7 working days
Rest of world: typically 7–10 working days

Delivery timeframes are estimates. Upon receipt, the Buyer should check the conformity of the Products; any anomaly, including a missing or broken Product or damaged package, should be reported to Customer Service as soon as possible. Reporting late does not remove any statutory right you have in respect of faulty goods or goods that are not as described.

Incomplete or incorrect address: if redelivery is required due to an address error made by the Buyer, reshipment costs are payable by the Buyer.

Unclaimed packages: if a package is not collected from the post office, pick-up location or carrier, reshipment costs are payable by the Buyer.

Customs duties and import taxes

Orders delivered outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or other local charges on arrival. These charges are set by the destination country, are not included in the price paid at checkout, and are payable by the customer as the importer. We cannot calculate or collect them in advance. Please check with your local customs authority if you are unsure.

Your Right to Cancel

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason, where the statutory right of cancellation applies.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

You must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or email.

You may use the Model Cancellation Form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you validly cancel this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery, with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

Returns are free within 90 days of delivery. To return an item, contact our customer service with your order number: we will send you a prepaid return label.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exemption for personalised goods

The statutory right to cancel does not apply to goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised.

Because many of our products are engraved, printed or embroidered with text, names or images that you choose, most personalised orders fall within this exemption and cannot be cancelled under the 14-day statutory right above.

Where an item is supplied without any personalisation, this exemption does not apply and the full 14-day statutory right above applies to it.

Your statutory right to cancel is separate from our 90-day returns policy below. The 90-day policy is a commercial policy that we choose to offer; it does not replace or limit any statutory right.

Our 90-Day Returns Policy

Separately from your statutory cancellation right above, the Buyer has 90 days from the date of delivery to return Products for a refund of the order amount excluding the original shipping cost.

  • Personalised items may be returned under this commercial policy.
  • The product must be returned in its original condition, within 90 days of delivery.
  • Refunds are processed within 5 working days of receipt, via the original payment method.
  • Returns are free within 90 days of delivery. To return an item, contact our customer service with your order number: we will send you a prepaid return label.
  • Where you are exercising your statutory right to cancel an unpersonalised item within 14 days of delivery, we will also refund the original standard delivery cost.
  • This policy is in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect them. In particular, it does not affect your right to a remedy if goods are faulty or not as described.

Disputes

These Terms & Conditions and the contractual relationship between the Vendor and the Buyer are subject to UK law. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to the Buyer.
